My Story
How Daily. came to be
For years, I struggled with building consistent habits. I'd start strong, miss a day, and then abandon my routines completely because they weren't "perfect" anymore. This all-or-nothing thinking kept me stuck in a cycle of starting over.
One night, after abandoning yet another habit tracker app because I'd missed two days in a row, I had an idea: What if my tasks just reset every midnight? What if I could get a fresh start every day, without the baggage of yesterday's incomplete tasks?
That's how Daily. was born. I built the first version for myself, adding the "explosion" animations as a fun way to visualize letting go of yesterday's tasks. When friends tried it, they loved the concept too – especially the Unstuck Button that lets you reset anytime.
Now, Daily. has grown into a tool that helps thousands of people break free from perfectionism and build better habits. But it's still just me behind the scenes, coding new features, answering support emails, and using the app myself every day.
